·         Chemical peels- the best way to treat a mild scar is by using chemical peels. These peels are nothing but some kind of acid that helps to remove the topmost layer of the skin which is affected the most by acne.
·         If the scars are located deep under the skin surface then a minor surgery needs to be done to remove the scar. This method is known as subcision

Apart from these three methods there are other effective methods also to get rid of acne scars. You can also go for using collagen fillers to treat acne scars if they are less noticeable.
